Eligibility
- Technical Assistant: First class 3-year diploma in the relevant engineering branch.
- Scientific Assistant (Physics): First class B.Sc. with Physics as main subject and Mathematics and Chemistry as ancillary subjects.
- Scientific Assistant (Photography/Cinematography): First class Bachelor degree in Fine Arts (Photography) or Visual Arts (Cinematography).
- Library Assistant A: Graduation plus first class Master degree in Library Science or equivalent.
- Nurse B: First class nursing diploma (minimum 3 years) and registration with the State Nursing Council.
- Technician B / Draughtsman B: SSLC/SSC (10th) pass plus ITI/NTC/NAC in the trade from NCVT (Boiler Attendant also needs a first class Boiler Attendant certificate).
- Fireman A: 10th pass and the prescribed physical standards.
- Light Vehicle Driver A: 10th pass, 3 years experience as LVD and a valid LVD licence.
- Heavy Vehicle Driver A: 10th pass, 5 years total driving experience including at least 3 years as HVD, and a valid HVD licence (Public Service Badge where required).
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 10th (Matric/SSLC/SSC) pass.

Selection Process
- Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Technician, Draughtsman: online written test (80 MCQs, negative marking 0.33) followed by a skill test (qualifying only).
- Nurse B: written test and skill test (qualifying).
- Fireman A: written test, Physical Efficiency Test and medical examination.
- LVD / HVD: written test (100 questions) and driving skill test.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: written test only (100 questions).
